today I'm going to review what we

strategies of the US in this new Cold

War in fact in this article the CIA

acknowledging the fact that there is a

only against Russia but also Al against

referred to China as the biggest

long-term threat to the US and he

reorganizing itself to reflect that

around the world the CIA has doubled the

percentage of its overall budget focused

focused exclusively on China and

repeatedly in this article he repeated

again and again that China is the

biggest so-called threat to the US this

is a clear message in the new Cold War

now if you know anything about the

history of the CIA this should be a

rather concerning statement the late

journalist and historian William Bloom

published a brilliant book called

killing hope US military and CIA

intervention since World War II and he

documented the dozens of examples of the

CIA meddling in the internal affairs of

foreign countries and organizing K DEA

to overthrow democratically elected

governments he created a map that shows

the dozens of countries that have been

targeted by the cia's coovert schemes I

also published a follow-up article in

which I analyzed the data published by

the US government's Congressional

research service and it showed that as

2022 the US had launched 251 military

interventions since

1991 and in the entire history of the US

to stress here is that when the CIA

director says that China is now the top

so-called threat to the US and its main

focus this is an actual threat to China

the United States is very clearly saying

publicly to China by publishing this

US is sending a warning to China and

Washington or rather Langley is

essentially saying that they want to

change the Chinese government now for

people who don't know Foreign Affairs is

on Foreign Relations one of the most

powerful think tanks in the United

States based in New York it has a

revolving door with the state department

and also with Wall Street and it was

essentially created again based in New

York City to create an umbilical cord

between Wall Street and the state

department to coordinate economic and

4:50

political policy and speaking of

revolving doors William Burns the

current CIA director was a longtime

Diplomat at the state department

department and he for over 30 years

served in a variety of different

positions including at the end in the

Obama Administration he was deputy

secretary of state making him the second

in command of the state department and

that was under Hillary Clinton at the

time who was the Secretary of State and

he also served in numerous other senior

roles at the state department and as

I'll discuss a bit later he was the US

ambassador to Russia which is very

important because his article focuses a

lot on Russia and what this shows is

that there's a revolving door between

the CIA and the state department us

diplomats claim that they have nothing

to do with the CIA and Espionage and CW

plotting but there are many examples

throughout history of so-called us

ambassadors actually serving as CIA

agents the most blatant recent example

of this is that the US ambassador to

Peru Lisa Kenna was also a CIA agent and

perhaps it's not a coincidence that she

helped oversee a coup in 20022 against

Peru's democratically elected left-wing

leader so obviously the stakes are quite

those are the three industries that the

US has targeted in China the US is

waging a technology War on China

as and has imposed sanctions and Export

restrictions on Chinese tech companies

in particular targeting semiconductors

microchips artificial intelligence and

Quantum Computing along with

superlatives this is the greatest

biggest threat ever in history and

that we are seeing today pose as big a

said that with the war in Ukraine the

postc Cold War era came to an end in

2022 so I take this as him acknowledging

that the US is waging a new Cold War and

again not only against Russia but if you

read you can clearly see that China is

the main target William Burns wrote that

quote China Remains the the only us

rival with both the intent to reshape

the international order and the economic

8:36

diplomatic military and technological

8:38

power to do so and he said that China's

economic transformation over the past

five decades has been extraordinary so

here what he's acknowledging is that

Russia is a short-term so-called threat

to the US but in reality it is not the

main threat the main so-called threat is

China and what's interesting is he does

talk about the proxy war in Ukraine that

emphasizes that it's not simply about

Ukraine and Russia it's about the larger

China over Taiwan so he's clearly saying

that the war in Ukraine is not about

Ukraine it's about us Imperial hegemony

weakening Russia and threatening China

Western aid for Ukraine and he said that

Aid to Ukraine as a potential economic

look we should continue selling more

more weapons to Ukraine in order to

enrich the weapons manufacturers in the

US which provide jobs for us workers

creating missiles that are used to kill

people and by the way on the subject of

role that we should talk about I

mentioned that he was previously the US

ambassador to Russia before later

becoming CIA director and back in 2008

1970s when the US signed the three

communes the agreements normalizing

relations with China the US formally

recognized there is only one China and

Taiwan is part of China and yet the US

has been supporting separa forces on

Taiwan sending troops to Taiwan selling

billions of dollars of military

14:05

equipment and weapons to Taiwan us

officials like Nancy Pelosi have been

visiting Taiwan so the US is clearly

supporting separatist extremist forces

on Taiwan threatening China and here you

have the CIA director who was US

ambassador to Russia who knew that US

policy would set off a war in Ukraine

that would force Russia to intervene and

14:28

now the CIA is threatening China over

14:32

Taiwan history is repeating itself and

by publishing this article in foreign

affairs the CIA is very clearly sending

a warning to China just as the US was

14:46

threatening Russia before so it's not

surprising to see the CIA director using

the same rhetoric but it is quite

revealing that he says clearly that the

US must continue supporting Ukraine

in order to threaten China he said that

the United States willingness to inflict

and absorb economic pain to counter

Putin's aggression is only part of the

strategy he added quote continued

material backing for Ukraine does not

come at the expense of Taiwan it sends

an important message of us resolve that

Taiwan and he also emphasizes in this

create a network of allies and partners

Arc of us alliances stretching from

South Korea and Japan in the North to

Australia in the South the BBC also

pointed out that this is a very

important deal and it reverses the US's

departure from their former Colony so it

points out that the Philippines was

16:42

colonized by the United States and I

16:45

should point out that the current

16:46

President of the Philippines who is very

anti-china and very Pro us feron Marcos

Jr he's the son of the longtime former

dictator a brutal right-wing dictator

who was of course back by the US and his

father feron Marcos senior and his wife

so the current president's mother amelda

Marcos they were notorious for extreme

corruption they stole billions of

dollars of money from the Philippine

people and the current president fernon

closest allies in the region that

Washington is trying to use to try to

encircle and contain China the Japanese

media Outlet nay reported that the US

military is spending tens of billions of

dollars to build a missile Network an

offensive missile Network along the

17:51

first island chain surrounding mainland

17:54

China and it revealed that the US

Military plans

27.4 billion in spending in the

so-called indopacific theater to create

Precision strike missiles on the first

island chain this is a map of the first

island chain and you can see that it

connects down from Southern Japan and

that's why for the US military okanawa

is very important geost strategically

for the US Empire going around Taiwan

and going around the Philippines and

18:28

down into Malaysia and the South China

18:30

Sea and Southeast Asia the US is trying

to use this region to encircle China

militarily and in fact in a speech in

2022 US Secretary of State Anthony

blinkin said very clearly that

Washington's goal is to quote shape the

Strategic environment around Beijing so

18:52

when they say shape the Strategic

18:54

environment around Beijing they mean

18:56

containment we are back to the

containment policy of the Cold War now

the US economy is very deeply integrated

solution is to call for drisking and

diversifying now many US politicians

but many have realized that this is

essentially unrealistic considering how

much the US relies on the Chinese supply

chain so much of the global supply chain

is located in China and the US has

19:37

de-industrialized while China has become

19:40

the world's industrial superpower in

19:42

but William Burns's solution instead of

decoupling is to drisk certain strategic

Industries from China especially the

technology sector and in this article he

acknowledges that we are living in an

increasingly multi-polar world he refers

to the growing weight of the so-called

hedging middle saying that it's growing

20:14

and he notes that countries across the

20:16

global South are increasingly intent on

diversifying the relationships to

maximize their options and he uses this

ridiculous you know metaphor here which

is very cringe honestly coming from the

20:30

CIA director but he uses the comparison

20:33

of open relationships and he says that

20:37

countries in the global South see little

20:38

benefit and plenty of risk in sticking

to monogamous geopolitical relationships

with either the us or China more

20:46

countries are likely to be attracted to

20:48

an open geopolitical relationship status

or at least an it's complicated one

again cringe but what he's acknowledging

here is very important this is the CIA

director one of the most powerful people

in the US government clearly stating

that we are firmly in a multi-polar

world and most of the global South is

neutral and non-aligned they are not

following the west and on that same note

and Russia consume much of the cia's

attention they're also still active

in other parts of the world with

geopolitical significance and

specifically he named Latin America and

Africa so we can expect that the long

history of the CIA organizing K data and

meddling in the internal affairs of

countries around the world that history

is very much going to continue and just

as in the first Cold War the US said

that the Soviet Union was the greatest

so-called threat today the the US says

that China's socialist system is the

greatest so-called threat to the US and

22:04

of course China is not a threat to the

22:07

people of the United States not in any

22:09

way in reality what this article shows

is that China is the biggest threat to

22:14

the US Empire to us hegemony around the

22:18

world to Washington's attempt to

22:21

dominate the entire political system of

22:23

the world and to dominate the economy of

22:26

the world to exploit natural resources

22:29

of countries in the global South to

22:31

exploit the low paid labor of countries

22:34

concentrated in the periphery of the

22:36

world system and so it's multinational

22:39

corporations based in in the US can

22:41

profit from that China is challenging

22:45

the us-led imperialist system and that

22:48

is why the CIA has publicly stated that

22:52

China is its top priority it's why it's

22:55

doubling its budget to focus on China

22:59

and it's why it's very important to

23:01

focus on these geopolitical conflicts to

23:04

educate yourself and to not be misled by

23:08

Western Government propaganda which

unfortunately is really regurgitated by
